How Long Until I Start Getting Website Traffic?

This doesn’t really have a quick and easy answer and will always depend on many different things. Your website won’t start gathering traffic out of nowhere (unfortunately 😔 ). You have to do something yourself to bring people there.

One easy way to do that is to link your website everywhere on your social media, if you work there a lot and write a few posts showing off your website and bringing attention to it. This will guarantee you some traffic immediately and set the ball rolling. If people keep going there, Google will slowly start recommending your website to others. Don’t expect much to happen from there for at least a few months.

If you’re hoping to get website traffic from your blog, then consistency and time is key. Blog as often as possible and as consistently as possible. Keep a good schedule. Post twice a week and expect noticeable results within 4-8 months. Blogging is a bit slow to get results from and really is a bit unpredictable. Who knows, you might become a one out of a thousand success story and hit it off with a million views on your second post ever. In almost all cases that won’t happen, and you will just have to work for a few months. You have to trust the process with this one.
