3 Free Font Combinations (for various uses)

Finding good fonts can be boring, hard, and generally a bit of a drag. Finding good fonts that work together well, even more so. And finding free fonts makes it even more difficult. But never fear! Here are three different font combinations that you can use on your projects.

All of the fonts here are available for free on Google Fonts. On most website platforms, you can add them to your website easily, in just 5 minutes or less.

Playfair Display & Arial: Classy and Elegant

The heading font here is Playfair Display and the paragraph font is Arial*. These are a pretty classic combination and work well for websites that have a more classy, elegant and refined aesthetic.

Museo Moderno & Tahoma: Funky and Interesting

The heading font here is Museo Moderno and the paragraph font is Tahoma**. This is a pretty funky and weird combination but can work well for quite a few different things. For example, this could be used for a retro clothing brand, a radio station, or a fun stationery store.

Of course, you could even use it on a website for a law firm if you feel the spirit of strange fonts in you.

Oswald & Lora: Crisp and Neat

The heading font here is Oswald and the paragraph font is Lora. Look at how neat these two are! How compact… neat… well-ordered…. I like these two fonts; they are good for a huge variety of different projects and work quite well together.

*NOTE: Now that I’m reading this back, I realized Arial can’t actually be found on Google Fonts. However, it’s a very popular font and can be downloaded for free very easily and even comes out of the box with Webflow.

**Same goes for Tahoma
